PRIVACY NOTICE RESPONSIBLE FOR PERSONAL DATA

In accordance with the Federal Law for the Protection of Personal Data in Possession of Individuals, AIST Capitulo México A.C. and the Asociación Tecnológica del Hierro y el Acero S.C. (hereinafter only “AIST México”), will act as responsible for protecting the personal information provided by users (hereinafter “Personal Data”) and is responsible for its use. USE OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA

AIST Mexico may request and/or collect the Personal Data provided by users through: registration forms, magazine registration, membership, official social networks, Internet sites and subdomains that will be used for registration, promotion, sending information related to the activities of AIST Mexico, its present and future related events; as well as to comply with legal provisions that so require, or when requested by competent authorities.

AIST Mexico and/or any third party that collaborates in this and that becomes involved in any handling of information with the Personal Data, will keep confidentiality with respect to the same when they have such character, according to the applicable legal dispositions in Mexico.
Likewise, the Personal Data may be used to (a) enable our sponsors and/or suppliers to reach appropriate audience groups, (b) as well as to generate databases that AIST Mexico will use for advertising and promotional purposes, (c) that the User may participate in contests-raffles conducted by AIST Mexico, (d) generate databases that will be used for invitations to events, or (e) when the Users want to make a purchase or subscribe to any event.

COOKIES

In order to improve the experience of its users AIST Mexico, as well as in subdomains of this, may use “cookies”. For the purposes of this Privacy Notice “cookies” will be identified as text files of information that a website transfers to the hard drive of the users’ computer in order to store certain records and preferences. The use of cookies does not personally identify users, only their computers.

Users may change the options through their computer equipment and/or browsers to stop accepting “cookies” or confirm whether or not to accept them.

The entry and/or registration through registration forms, registration to the magazine, official social networks, Internet sites and subdomains implies the full and unreserved consent of the users for the use of their Personal Data in accordance with this Privacy Notice.

REVOCATION OF CONSENT

If you do not wish to provide your data, AIST Mexico reserves the right to deny you information and/or registration to events, products and dynamics. AIST Mexico, in order to fulfill the purpose(s) described above or other those required by law or by the competent authorities, may communicate to its business partners, its customers and/or the competent authorities certain information collected from you.
To revoke your consent and/or exercise your rights of access, rectification, cancellation and opposition, you or your representative are requested to send an email to info@aistmexico.org.mx to inform us of your decision and to obtain a response from us upon receipt of your request.
