Scholarship Competition
In order to fulfill the objectives of AIST Chapter Mexico A.C.
to promote academic and technical training and scientific
or technological research, we are holding the
AIST – ACERO Scholarship competition.
The scholarship will consist of financial support, either monthly or in a single contribution, for studies in educational institutions that have authorization or recognition of official validity of studies under the terms of the General Law of Education or, in the case of foreign institutions, are recognized by the National Council of Science and Technology (CONACYT).
For scientific or technological research, it must be registered in the National Registry of Scientific and Technological Institutions
of the National Council of Science and Technology (CONACYT).
The scholarship will be assigned based on objective data related to the candidate's academic capacity.
Registration requirements
• Be an active student of technical high school, bachelor's, master's, doctorate, who is involved with the activities of the AIST Mexico Chapter A.C. or who belongs to a student chapter.
• Write a letter addressed to AIST Mexico Chapter A.C. explaining why you want to apply for the scholarship and what you are passionate about in the steel industry.
• Submit the necessary documentation to evaluate the applicant's status.
The deadline for receipt of the AIST - ACERO scholarship application is August 30, 2026.
