What does our AIST-ACERO scholarship offer you?
The scholarship consists of financial support, either in monthly installments or as a lump sum, to pursue studies at educational institutions that are authorized or officially recognized under the terms of the General Education Law; in the case of foreign institutions, they must be recognized by the National Council for Science and Technology (CONACYT).
For scientific or technological research, the institution must be registered in the National Registry of Scientific and Technological Institutions
of the National Council for Science and Technology (CONACYT).
The scholarship will be awarded based on objective criteria related to the candidate’s academic ability.

Requirements for validating registration

Active student
You may have a technical high school diploma, a bachelor's degree, a master's degree, or a doctorate.

Cover Letter
Write a letter addressed to AIST Capítulo México A.C. explaining why you want to receive the scholarship and what you are passionate about in the steel industry.

Updated documentation
Submit the necessary documentation proving that you are a currently enrolled student at an educational institution.
